Weekly/Monthly Continuing Events

Healing Service.  Service of Prayers for Healing to be held in St. Giles is held on 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7.30 pm.

Flower Arranging Workshop. Each Month St Giles holds a Flower arranging Workshop, run by Christine Beach at the Church one morning in the last week of each month. Everyone is welcome to this FREE workshop. The results of the workshop are displayed in St Giles Parish Church, Killamarsh. Check here and Notice boards for actual date each month.

Service at the Lodge. Each month a service is held at The Lodge care home on

Bridge Street
, Killamarsh. 3rd Sunday of the month as many people as possible are asked to bring along their voices to praise the Lord and sing for the Old Folk at the Lodge.

Messy Church. St Giles Church is recognised as a church for families who want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but can't cope with traditional Sunday morning church services. Who said Church had to be boring?
Every 4th Wednesday of the month is a time of creativity, cooking, worship and eating together. Free to all.

Family Service: Our 10am Sunday morning service is flourishing, the attendance is now almost triple that of 12 months ago. A very warm welcome is there for everyone. Refreshments afterwards and a chance to chat with reverend Helen and other Church goers. Also a chance to peruse the Christian Book Shop.

Coffee Morning: The Please remember to invite your friends along to the weekly coffee morning held at St Matthew’s every Tuesday Morning at 9:30.

3C's Café: The Cafe AROMA has moved to the Methodist Church on

Sheffield Road
and with the move comes a new name 3C’s Café representing our mission statement “To be Christ in Church and Community”. Our thanks go to our Methodist brothers and sisters in Christ for generously allowing us to use their premises. Free fair-trade tea and coffee. Come and chat with friends and meet rev Helen and Michael Guest on Friday Mornings 9am – 12 noon.

Alpha Courses:  “A Question of Life”. The Alpha course is an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian Faith; It’s relaxed, low key and fun. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives an opportunity to get to know each other. Listen, Learn, discus and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. It is supported by all the main Christian Denominations. Next course - Call Rev Michael Guest - 0114 2482769

A Life Worth Living: An official follow-up to the Alpha course introduces, in a practical way, a key letter in the New Testament to those who are starting their Christian life and beginning to read the bible. For those wondering “What do I do now” we study the letter to the Phillipians. It is supported by all the main Christian Denominations. Next course - Call Rev Michael Guest - 0114 2482769

Stigles - Sunday Club: Why not come along and have a go at some of the fun activities at Stigles Sunday club and make friends. Enjoy Free Drinks and Cakes, And Biscuits afterwards. Bring your friends, we look forward to seeing you there.

Christian Book Shop: We have a great selection of Bibles, Christian books, bookmarks, CDs and other Christian items. This selection is regularly changed and if there is anything particular you would like us to find for you, please ask at the Book Stall in the Church. If you would like our bookshop at your event, please contact Rev Helen Guest on 0114 2482769.
